A pocket mirror with two different images on the backside. The other one has a detail of blue silk from the railway coach used by the Russian Empresses. The empresses coach is part of the imperial train used by the Russian tsars when travelling in Finland. The imperial train is part of the collections of the Finnish Railway Museum. The coach was completed in 1876.

The other mirror has a beautiful black and white portrait of Miss Karin Johanna Krook, born in 1878, who worked as a telegraphist for the Finnish State Railways. The State Railways was one of the first governmental employers which also provided opportunities for women to public offices. The first female employee of the Finnish State Railways, Hilda Hilden, started working as a telegraphist in 1868.
